At Newman, many students know Camille Morelli as a math, computer science, and economics teacher. What fewer people might know is that she also plays bass guitar in a band with her husband, Mr. Morelli, who teaches science.

In the latest Newman debate, students and faculty weighed in on a question that affects all of us whether we realize it or not: What is the best day of the week?

Everything looks almost the same. The white walls, the mirror at the entrance, the seating area underneath it, the low hum of distant chatter. It’s all exactly how I left it. But I’m not one of the students anymore. Today, I’m just visiting. 

On Tuesday, March 4, World Culture Day brought the entire Newman community together. Students and teachers filled their plates with diverse food from all over the world and celebrated the many cultures that make up their school.

On Friday, February 28th, Newman School students laced up their skates and hit the ice at Warrior Ice Arena for the school's annual ice skating day—a much-anticipated tradition that brings the community together for a fun-filled break from academics.

The Newman School welcomes a new Art teacher this school year, Molly Gurner. She is a former Newman student and has experience in both educational and non-profit settings.

Albert Camus, often defined as an absurdist author, is characterized by his blunt analysis and emotional distance from the world. This role is only strengthened through one of his most famous works, The Stranger.

For the fourth year in a row, Newman’s Cardinal Theater Company performed in the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild (METG) Competition. The company travelled to Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough to compete on March 8th.
