Many students know Mr. Tran as a middle and high school math teacher, but fewer might know about his love for history or that he once won a race at the ancient Olympic stadium in Greece.

Model United Nations is an active and exciting club within the Newman community. Often at the center of the stage, Model UN is about passionate debate, collaboration, and problem-solving.

In the graph below, you can see that around 22% of our Newman community enjoys spring as their favorite season.

At Newman, many students know Camille Morelli as a math, computer science, and economics teacher. What fewer people might know is that she also plays bass guitar in a band with her husband, Mr. Morelli, who teaches science.

On Tuesday, March 4, World Culture Day brought the entire Newman community together. Students and teachers filled their plates with diverse food from all over the world and celebrated the many cultures that make up their school.

On Friday, February 28th, Newman School students laced up their skates and hit the ice at Warrior Ice Arena for the school's annual ice skating day—a much-anticipated tradition that brings the community together for a fun-filled break from academics.

The Newman School welcomes a new Art teacher this school year, Molly Gurner. She is a former Newman student and has experience in both educational and non-profit settings.

For the fourth year in a row, Newman’s Cardinal Theater Company performed in the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild (METG) Competition. The company travelled to Algonquin Regional High School in Northborough to compete on March 8th.

We are currently in the middle of the school year, and times are getting busy. Everyone’s focus is on the next summative assignment. Despite that, we have to prepare ourselves for college.
